First Round of the year....

First Round of the year....

  •

Going out for the first round of the year tomorrow.... A little late for me, but the new year has been a little hectic.

Expecting 72 deg with 5-10 and a 30% chance of rain. Time to break out the FJ rain shirt just in case...

I hope everyone is having a good year so far. It's nice to see so many new names on the boards... Welcome everyone, participate and enjoy the best group of loyalist out there!

FJ, The Mark of A Player!

    Paul,

Hope you have a great round and super year. I got our earlier this year in MA (see icon), but it's been nasty lately (and more snow predicted tonight). But I have 9 rounds planned for the Ft Lauderdale area in mid-March; can't wait.

    Have fun!

Go for it, Paul.  Hope you have a terrific round--at least a lot better then mine have been lately.

Have a good round!  I think I speak for all New Englanders when I say I am jealous! We have to wait for all this snow to melt before we can get out there...probably another few weeks if the weather cooperates.

Rain is pelting the windows here on Cape Cod but the snow pack is considerable and isn't melting fast enough! At least this weekend"s storm is rain and not snow....Tired of shoveling!

I hear ya.  I've played twice this year, once on each coast (Fla and CA). I can't wait for the spring.

I played my 20th round of the year today.  And broke in the new 913D3 8.5.  Will have the game in fine shape when it gets warm.

Hope the weather breaks for you all stuck in the frozen tundra.

Got in 3 rounds last week while in Cali, but not looking like the course here will be opening anytime soon. 3-5 more inches falling tonight!

I am jealous reading about all of the rounds everyone is getting in.  I got one round in this year and that was the 2nd week of January.  I am in a deep state of depression.  Driving with my wife the other day and passing TPC, my wife said, do you really miss playing......Almost drove off the road after that statement.  Boy I miss the green grass.

20 rounds! That is about how much I play a year.

We don't get any real "winter" like you guys do.  Both snows we have had so far have melted within a day.  Has been in the 50's - 70's every weekend for a month.  Sorry to brag, but I also won't complain when it's 110 here this summer.
