i was at the driving range today because it was nice out. i was hitting my driver and sure enough the drivers shaft broke. i was wondering what is a good shaft to buy

  •

The popular response for this will be get fitted.  No shaft is perfect for everyone, I have friends who hit it by me but can't hit my driver in the air.  All comes down to what works for your swing.

Seeing your swing I can suggest something X-Stiff though.

There are a zillion shaft options on the market today and Devin is pointing you in the right direction stating that you should find a professional to fit you properly...

  •

that is tshaft he flex i have been looking for and i will get fitted but i am just wondering what shaft is popular

  •

Dev, that's the only response! Without the eyes of a PGA Pro and launch monitor its a waste of time and money!

It's been said above.  But get fitted and find the right shaft for you.

I chose to upgrade to the GD AD DI 7X after my fitting , it was best suited for my swing speed and worth the extra price.

There are so many shafts out there for sure. And everyone will recommedn the one they use. But as TT and Dev and TNT say, the fitting will help "the shaft choose you."

If you want to know about Shaft you should call Richard Roundtree

I have always liked shafts by "DEMO"  seems like a popular shaft and really great with "RANGE Ball" brand.

As you are seeing below, go get fitted properly.

I personally have selected the GD - AD-DI6s for my driver.  My stats are 7.9 - 8.3 on the launch, 2547 - 2597 spin rate, 148 - 152 Ball Speed, and 99 - 103 on the club head speed.  Most of these didn't make any sense to me until the Titleist fitters at Manchester Lane went through them all with me.  This was a bit overwhelming at first, but I am now starting to get a better understanding on what will specifically work for me.

I would strongly suggest the same.  Get professional fit, take the time to understand the breakdown of your swing, and finally understand what types of shaft set ups are best for your game.

Best of luck and keep us all posted.

Guess I'll join the majority...get fitted for sure...no two shafts function the same for different people...

Thank you BHolley! Love it. Best new music video I've seen since the golf boys.
