Last round of season with Patrick, my son.

  •

I was able to get in another round this weekend and took my oldest son with my.  It was a bit cold and I had to shed my FJ coat for him.  I thought it fit him fine, but I will let you all be the judge...

Anyway it was a great day, as they almost all are when I get the chance to play with my Dad and bring along my son.  He did tell mom he was tired after caddie for the day ( I will explain that one in a second), and asked to skip his soccer game.

Cadding by Pat's defintion - Get a pack of gum, a sprite and grenadine, a hot coco, drive the cart, and make Dad walk.  He is certainly helpful with the others by taking their clubs, grabbing a few pins, and placing drivers on the tee box...Boy I live this kid....

    Thanks for reading.

Great pic.  Hope you guys had a great time.  Maybe you should have given him the half sleeve rain shirt?

Great pic, I think it fits him fine! He may have a hard time swinging the club though.... LOL

Nothing like some father/son bonding time, thanks for sharing.

Brian, I feel the pain of being in a colder climate. Was sitting in the cart yesterday, in shorts, sweating my butt off out here in SoCal. Have not even thought about breaking out a sweater yet!

You know Randy...being a midwest transplant you would think there might be some compassion by you for us who no longer are able to play...guess you've really changed after just a few short months in So Cal...

Yeah Mike, I've changed a LOT! So much so, that I even put on a sweater yesterday in your honor, because I was freezing. And it was only 60 degrees! Imagine the pain of that.....

Looks like a great kid Brian :)

He is a good kid.  Hoping the NE weather will hold out tomorrow and I can try and convince him to come out for one more round with me.

Keeping my fingers crossed.  I take pics here and there so we can look back and laugh together as he gets older.

    thanks
