I'm not a big television guy at all but generally you can expect to find me on the couch Sunday afternoon watching the leaders finish up.

With the year wrapping up how will you spend your "T.V. golf time" until January?  I stocked up on used Ryder Cup books from ebay.  Excited to dig into these!

I'm a fan of "Silly Season" golf. It usually keeps me interested until the Tournament of Champions in January. Tiger's World Challenge is typically good, the 3-tour Challenge, the Skills Challenge, and the Shark Shootout are worth watching. I also like keeping up with Q School.

First off welcome to the group guys! I have to agree but stupid name, silly season, some guys are still trying to make a living. I like the new wrap season coming to the tour, but how many tournaments will still complain when these independent contractors, only play the big events on all sides of the pond... We shall see.

Agree with the "big events" comments.  The past few weeks feel more like one big global tour as opposed to multiple, independent tours.

Comments on the forums tend to pick up as the TV golf season comes to a close and the days get short and cold. Post a few more times and roll some putts on your carpet :).

I'm a fan of all things golf. In addition to the "silly season" events, there is always the golf channel, saved programs, or DVDs for TV viewing. The FJ membership appears internet savvy: I recommend spending time on the web. There is a vast amount of golf knowledge, instructional and historical information available. Get up to date on the latest technologies, or learn about basics like loft and lie angles, kick points, etc. Check out the off-season deals and closeouts. Or, read a good book. There is a lot of golf available. Have fun.

Creating a hitting station for this Winter (just received my Hitting Mats (4x4').

There is still some quality golf taking place globally and most will stay competitive till the next Full Tour season in January.

I like the silly season courses, quite different from the PGA grind where they mostly look and play the same. the course in  china has a sweet par 3 with an elevated tee so high they have to "buggy" the players up to it.

I get out and play more instead of watching the tube!

No T.V. golf on Sunday means another day to go out and hit the links. The only difference is Nov./Dec. in Rhode Island means having the thermals and winter gloves handy.

Fortunately I can play almost year round if I want.

most likely will spend it watching silly season events, but most likely spend it refereeing a lot of hockey in an attempt to build up a golf slush fund for the next golf season...
