Just got an email about a new FJ contest to win winter gear. All you have to do is review one of the winter products by Dec. 13. Only one entry per person. They are giving away four Cold Weather Prize Packs: softshell jacket, WinterSof gloves, cart mitts, fleece hat and fleece ear band.

Maybe those of us in the cold Midwest have a better chance -- surely all you Southwest and Florida golfers don't need this prize!

Please, ever play an elevated desert course in January at 7am? Low 40's. Besides, our blood is thinner!

Cold weather gear could really come in handy in Chicago this time of year. 40° mid-day with 30mph winds (yesterdays conditions). Brutal.

Got the email last night and entered. Great stuff. You never know when we get back to the colder climes again and I might need some of that gear.
