Stabbed in the leg by a SC pivot tool!!!

  •

Has anyone noticed how sharp the working ends of a Scotty Cameron "pivot tool" (ball mark fixer) get after several months of use?

Not sure how I managed it, but I poked myself in the thigh from inside my pocket. I wouldn't really call it being stabbed, but I thought a dramatic subject would be more fun.

I'm on my second pivot tool now. Both have become shorter and very sharp with use. Gave one to my son - he has fun flinging it to the ground and having it land and stick in the ground!

So... I had one in my back pocket and forgot... That is until I sat on it and got a literal "pain in the a@#!

Yes, they are sharp little buggers. But they are so cute too.....

They sure are pointy but I've never been stuck.

I have a custom made one from my dads work he got them for his employes but i managed to snag one it is pretty nice

I did notice this, but I don't use the pivot tool because I find it just too big. I have a much smaller bent metal one that works quite a bit better. Oh, and it isn't at all sharp!

I probably use the same one as you 19hole, I'm not a fan of the SC tool -- too big for my pockets!!!

Back in my day we didn't have these fancy divot tools, we used golf tees

    AND WE LIKED IT!!

I use the same divot tool every round, And I never put it in my back pocket.

Tried on of the new kind with the small points, just gotts get used to it.
