During a round, all I think about is tempo.
During practice, it's a bit more technical but not too bad.
slow and natural, unforced. i find trying to force the swing always puts me out of tempo.
You mean that you are suppose to think when you play this game?
But seriously, I just try to focus on balance and tempo.
I'm not sure but is keep your head down a swing thought ? Because I sure do think that often on ball address.
for me it is tempo, tempo, tempo. And finsish the follow through.
I'm with Shaun here, I think about "one thousand one (take away), one thousand two (follow through).
Also, I've taken a page out of the Vision 54 concept...every swing has a purpose...
With all the different things one is supposed to think about, I concentrate mentally on where I want the ball to go, my routine that I use in approaching the ball and tempo with full follow thru. It seems to work well for me and mentally concentrating on where I want to the ball to go has really helped me improve.
