i can't give a top ten, but as a kid i remember how my dad would follow palmer (he considered himself part of arnie's army), my mom loved trevino and my favorite at the time was the man in black gary player. i love seeing his name in your list.

i think you might need to make it a top eleven and add payne stewart he's the only player that has come close to my childhood golf idol.

That's a pretty strong list that you have there.  Can't go wrong with any of those guys.  I would add Corey Pavin.  He is a guy that can't overpower a golf course, so it is nice to watch him actually play the course.

I admire Tiger, Arnold, Rory, Camilo and Poulter.

I don't try to emulate anyone; just be myself... it's worked alright so far.

    That's a great list - I'll give a handful that I admire.

I really admire Jack, Arnie, Player, Furyk, DL III and Norman in a bunch of ways just to name a few.  Boo Weekly has got to get the "not afraid to be yourself" award.  I completely admire Tiger for his ability to handle the media fishbowl he lives in.  There's really never been anyone else to experience that to his degree.  That has to be REALLY tough to handle.  The one guy that really deserves to be here as well is David Duval.  Anyone who can fight the mental demons of golf like he has and still show a love for the game is worth admiring in my books.  I can't imagine the struggle he's gone through.  How many other guys would have just walked away from the game?

I admire and respect these guys because they aren't trying to be anyone else but themselves and always seem to have done "the right thing" both on and off the course:

    Arnold Palmer

    Payne Stewart

    Bobby Jones

    Davis Love III

    I'd have to go with:

    1. Nicklaus 2. Palmer 3. Snead 4. Hogan 5. P. Stewart -- these 5 really embraced the tradition of the game

    5. K. Perry 6. Couples 7. Love 8. Z. Johnson -- these 4 "respect" the game and what it provides them.

As an ambassador and a genuine good man I admire the King.

As a golfer I admire Tiger and Ogilivy.

I try to emulate Ogilviy's swing and rhythm.  I have been having recent success lately and have been playing some lights out golf.
