It was a pleasure to have been part of an amazing tournament that I have ever been in.
I couldn't be luckier. . .
Course: The Los Angeles Country Club - Joseph Sartori Invitational
Practice day: June 27th
Format: Best ball- two men team for the qualifying. Date: July 7th, 2013.
My partner and I netted a score of 63 in the qualifying, which turns out to be the 3rd lowest for the day.
This qualified us in the most honorable flight, the Sartori.
From there on, the format switches to match.
The 4 matches began last Wednesday through Saturday.
We won our first match 4 & 3. But we lost our second 2 & 1, and that was the end of our tournament.
However, I also want to add and say that the course is so nice and a very good one, a links course. The Walker Cup will be there in 2017.
Pictured below is the Joseph Sartori perpetual trophy. I have more pictures and even some videos of the bagpipers marching up the 18th for the coronation, but I can't seem to figure out how to post it from my phone.
