So I contacted Vokey on Friday and unfortunately they were a release only item and no longer have Large in stock. On Sat, I received my Scotty package only to find the hat was way too big. I always order a L/XL in the fitted hats.
I called the Vokey customer service line again today and there are still no Large belts, so I have to return them. I am going to keep the buckle as I am hoping I will find a belt that may work at some point, or maybe in the next release. Michael was the CR rep on the phone and was very nice, helpful and appologitic.
I then called the Scotty customer service line to ask about the hat, only to find out it was the same Michael who responded. I told him the hat was too big and he kinda of laughed. One belt too small and one hat too big. Sounded like the 3 bears story. Anyway, the Scotty has was still in stock for M/L so I am going to exchange it. Since I have to send them back, I asked if there was a way to combine them in one box. Unfortunately the answer was NO. I asked about the cost of the shipping, and Michael received approval from his supervisor for to send me return labels and he said YES.
At least I will get the right size hat out of all of this, but no beltY ) ***s) to sport the new buckle.
I would like to add the Michael, the Vokey and Scotty CR was extremely polite and helpful and makes this less painful. Again the Achusnet brand is going above and beyond to help loyal customers stay loyal.
