Thanks for asking. He was a perfect gentleman. When he was asked his name he spoke up with confidence, and answered all questions he was asked. One of the best questions came from the Pro who asked "What is your favorite sport?" He answered wihitout hesitation "golf"..the Pro said to him "Good answer"
We hit a few at the range, and then putted. We had a putting contest, and I used his putter. To make it even I putted from about 3 yards off the green.. he hit from about 3 ft...close game, but he won. Then I drove him around the golf course looking at the birds, and creeks.. something he loves to do. Then I offer to buy him ice cream and go home. He accepted the offer of ice cream, but he wanted to call it a break, and go back to hit more balls, and putt some more.
Soon as I got him home he wanted to hit more balls in our back_yard. I have an Explanor and I showed him how it helps him learn his swing path. The roller club was to heavy for him so we used one of his Snoopy Clubs. I sit down with a cup of coffee and watched him knock the ball around. I was pleased to see him step into the Explanor a few time without me directed him.
At 6 I feel it better to become comfort and have a good time... without someone standing over him telling what he should be doing or what he is doing wrong.
He wants to go back to the course in the morning... makes me very happy. Golf is great.
