I'm going to go similar to the last time a thread like this was started, Natalie Gulbis, Sandra Gal, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Should be a good time for all. :-)

I would love to play with Mr. Palmer...I have a friend who was hired as an assistant pro at one of his course designs several years ago and he played with Arnold at the grand opening and said it was a real treat!

    1. My Dad-I never got a chance to play a round with him

    2. Bill Murray-never a dull moment

    3. Tom Watson-consummate professional

Haha I like where your head is at!  I would put Paula Creamer somewhere in there.  But if I wasn't going in that direction I would go for Bubba since he seems like a fun guy and he's a lefty like me.

Would have to say Freddie or Bubba, both would be a blast.

A few years back, I was playing at the Bill Hill Country Club and Lodge and met Arnie after the round.  He was playing WAR with a bunch of guys.  The men's locker room also has a small sitting area and he walked up to grab a drink and said hello.  We chatted for a minute or two then went back to his card game.  After we ate lunch, we decided to play again and sure enough who was on the practice tee, no other than Arnie, swinging away from his own private area that was roped off.

Off course we let him go ahead of us, not that we had any say in the matter.  We stayed a good distance behind him and on the 17th hole, a par 3 he stayed behind and watched us hit and drove up with us and chatted some more.

I would have loved to play with him, such a legend and special gentleman to meet.

What a treat Boston! A pal in the autograph business confirms that Arnie is a true golf enthusiast and gentleman who just exudes enthusiasm for the game and has no boundaries when it comes to respectful fans and sharing of his time. He did say that Arnie was not a huge fan of autographing photos and merchandise knowing that a lot of the activity was done for a profit ( selling on eBay). He would sign something, but only after personalizing it thereby lowering the value in the resale market..! Nevertrheless, a finer ambassador for the game would be hard to find..Jack Nicklaus is another emissary for the game who is nothing but nice...Again, thanks for the great story!
