    How is everyone doing?

    I know, its been awhile.

Hope all those that can get out to play are taking advantage of it, because the North East has not been to kind lately.  We had a few really nice days a few weeks back the courses were more not in the best of shape.  I really looking forward to getting back out there.

I recently went to the Golf Show in Edison, NJ to prepare myself for the season.  Got my hands on some Spydr-2's and 3 dozen balls.

Been practicing my swing at home and looking to get out to the Range as well.

What if anything are you doing to stay loose, or prepare for the season.

I GO TO A FOOTBALL FIELD DOME AT THIEL COLLEGE, ABOUT 2 MILES FROM MY HOUSE.  I HIT BALLS THERE

Thanks for the note Pablo.  I also live in the North East, Norton MA to be precise.  There really hasn't been much of an opportunity to get out and swing lately and now that we are burried under 2+ feet of snow, it doesn't appear that the grass will be seen anytime soon.

The only thing I have been able to do is putt around in the living room to be honest.  I have tried swinging a few clubs from time to time or hitting a few of the mat into the backyard, but not much luck there either.  I am thinking I will have to revert to one of the local covered bays and hit off mats soon.  Taking a trip to CA and would really like to knock a bit of the rust off before my 1st round out there.

My eyes and ears are open for others suggestions.

Utah has a couple of heated driving ranges (we still have 36 inches of snow) that we take advantage of twice a week.  I have the standard putting green set up downstairs, but I have spent this time preparing my body for what's about to come more than hitting balls.  As I get older (57 years) I have to work just a bit harder and longer to keep my range of motion and flexible.  Last year I was committed to walking the course for the entire seasion which we did, and it opened a whole other world of fun for me. To me, it doesn't matter how far I hit the ball, or how good I play unless I'm in the best possible shape.  Been doing that for years.

    Joe,

Thanks for the info. I'm going to Florida in about 3 1/2 weeks and really want to hit a few before I go. Rockland is only 3 or 4 towns north of here. All I've been able to do is a bit of putting and chipping indoors(haven't broken anything yet).

Wow...long time Pablo...hope you are doing well...

There are multiple domes in my area...usually try to go starting in February

I usually just go out and play a round or two, with a range warmup beforehand.  Sort of like the rest of the year.  Try to get a tuneup lesson once a month or once every two months, just to check on what I'm doing.  I'm overdue right now.  Sorry about that, you northeasterners.

I try to head to the driving range that is open year round with heated bays but I also like to mix it up a little and go to the simulator every now and then just to get the feel of "actually playing" again.

Welcome back Pablo, I am not a big fan of the dome but at this time of the year in Milwaukee I have no other choice. It is nice to swing the club and hear that click though, that is for sure.
