Growing up and playing in the same area and at the same courses there is one problem I see.

The "In 1984" portion, Lincoln Hills was my High School's home course and the last hole on either nine wasn't a driveable par 4!

I loved that place, tons of local knowledge to play well there (aka GOOFY GOLF) ... it is now a suburban community...

Negative :-), I never heard that there was ever a redesign or additional holes built, I may have to reach out to some people back home and get to the bottom of this.

YES.  I HAD THE PLEASURE OF COMPETING AGAINST HIM AT THE ANNUAL GREENSBURG INVITATIONAL IN GREENSBURG, PA.  MY BROTHER BELONGED THERE.

THAT WAS WHEN HE WAS AN AMATEUR OBVIOUSLY.  IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, HE AND HIS GUEST BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF EVERYBODY

Todd, thank you for sharing the article.  Great read on Rocco.  Very funny stories he shares and seems like a true gentleman.  I guess it must be something in the PA water as I would say the same about Arnie too.  I was fortunate enough to meet him a few years back at Bay Hill.  He went out of his way to sign a few things for my young boys after the round.
