    So over for the last three years Scotty has released some real goodies around this time of the year.  Be on the lookout if you are interested and warm up your credit cards!  Here is a summary of years past and the date of the release:

    Great info.  I did not realized how much was released.  I wonder if the release the other day will be it or not.  It's been a while since the last divot tool came out, so I hope so.

    Yes... that is downright crazy.  Granted it's alligator so it's an exotic material.  I'd be afraid to game it!

    No, that was The Cameron Collector release which refers to the group of cameron collectors around the world.  The Christmas Release should happen later this month....

    Yes!  Can you believe it....they only release about a very small amount of each cover (like 5-25) so they are very prized...

    Wow those prices are pretty steep. I am saving for a Cameron Newport but I am not sure I would collect all the covers though.

    It's getting to be a chore...two minutes after the release everything is gone.  If you want something you pay a premium for it in the secondary market.

    Another day on the Scotty Cameron Christmas Release Hunt!  This is the fun part trying to predict when the release hits and to see what over priced items I can get my hands on!  LOL

    It is only too much if you are not a "dedicated" collector.  Anyone that collects SC items KNOWS that everything is overpriced and there are NO good deals .... however the items are mostly very cool and unique things that are worthy of gaming and/or displaying with other past collectables....

    I think until one has been to the ICC (International Collectors Convention for Scotty Cameron Collectors) and you begin to develop an appreciation for the artistic value of the items (putters that is) then the other periphery items only begin to appear attractive...

    Just my two cents...

    I am beginning to develop a similar appreciation over the last few years for FJ items since I became a FJA ...similar to Scotty, FJ items are high quality, and very functional items that allow me to enjoy the game even more!
