Full Treatment at an Event?

  •

    Guys/Gals:

Would you dress up your best (FJ best) when attending a golf event?

I've only been in a few events.  One of them is at Sherwood, a friend calls each year to join them.  I think we will, again.

Anyway, I've always been in golf gears when I go.  It's hilly up there.  It just seems right to be in it, too.

    It'll be a fun, Saturday!

    Thanks.

Maybe a polo and Titleist hat, that's about how far ill go! It's about comfort and going out to eat later and being comfy!

  •

That's awesome No'l. Good for you.

Since Sherwood is a great course I would wear nice clothes. In the Tour events I have attended I have always worn golf shoes with nice golf attire. Of course my motto is, "You can never be under dressed." I would be nattily attired as you usually are, in all your FJ finest.

At the DB Championship, in which we have a hospitality tent I help host, I wear trousers, and a nice corporate golf shirt.  I say nice because it was not a FJ shirt, I will have to work on this for the 2013 event.  I have FJ casual shoes I wear.  As mentioned above you never be under dressed.

Yes, it's nice up there, Randy, and most do come up dressed nicely.

Seeing these guys at work live can be fun. . . at #18, walking towards their tee shot.

Awesome intent, and the motivation is solid.  Perfect timing for an "FJA logo" shirt-- rooting for your appointment!  . . . . besides, you will be awesome in FootJoys!

I will always dress nicely for a golf event. But I never wear my golf shoes unless I am playing.  I have plenty of other options to wear depending on the event.

Have a great time and enjoy the tournament.  I am with OUTIGER and wouldn't where golf shoes.  I thought the expression was "You can never be overdressed", Maybe I am a little slow on the uptake.

i agree with the comments but I believe you can never be overdressed.  Golf shoes are for the players not us spectators.  Enjoy the day.

Guys, this course would be an exception-- It's hilly.  We were very glad we were in spikes the last few times we were here.

The other event I attended was at the Riviera.  It has some hills, but not compared to Sherwood.  I think we were in tennis shoes (oops).

No jeans , no tee shirts and no sandals.

FJ Professional softspikes are more than adaqate for a hilly environment. Remember these are only recommendations You have to decide what is best for you.

I'm with a majority of the others; however, I would normally wear my FJ Street shoes - no spikes - Just better for walking (Do you see caddies wearing cleated shoes - think about that one).
