anyone use argyle socks ???
I actually have argyle socks, but I don't wear them when I golf. I had to wear them in a wedding.
I always wear white TechSof low cut socks because I don't own black shoes.
shoes drive choice. if i rotate black shoes in, it's low black (and put together short and shirt to match). I don't wear same shoes two days in a row.
With you also got to be low cut
I wear short socks in the warm months & long socks when it's cold. White socks with light color shorts, black socks with black shorts. Plain & simple.
Low and white if all possible. Longer in the cold when weather is on the low 50s or upper 40s.
Short, always short unless it's very cold. I'll match my socks to my belt (lame I know)

I own several Argyle socks, but I wear them to work. Gotta keep it a little bit funky in the office
White with white shoes, black with black shoes. Low unless it is cold them high.
19hole White with white shoes, black with black shoes. Low unless it is cold them high.
This is pretty much what I do (when my new white shoes arrive on Monday from UPS at least). But sometimes, I will on ocassion wear low white socks with my black MyJoys shoes because my laces are white.
Definitly white and low cut - no sock boots for me.
The socks match the shoes, pretty simple!
When in doubt, consult Cary Grant - Black socks and shorts are WRONG. Aside from that, match socks to the slacks and no short socks with slacks. With shorts, white socks ONLY (unless you are female).
When in doubt, ask yourself, "What would Cary Grant wear", and you'll never be wrong. Given that, never wear shorts with predominantly black shoes or socks.
Add to that, if you wear slacks, wear long socks or, no sock at all. If you don't believe me, go to a fine men's store and a salesperson, pardon me, sales consultant.
