Black or white? High or low?

Normally wear low white socks, but will wear low black socks with black shorts.  Just think the white socks look better -

I have to agree with the consensus, black shoes / black socks and white with everything else and no matter if I'm wearing shorts or long pants, always the low cut --

Glad the FJ crowd is fashion-oriented, and tilted heavily on the side of good taste. Nothing says "bad golfer" like  high white socks with black shoes with shorts.

Black shoes, black socks and low if I'm in shorts, otherwise longer with trousers. The same goes for the white shoes. It is kind of a no-brainer. The best look on the course is the guy in shorts that look like he just got out of bed with, a shirt with  an inapropriate logo, high black socks and white shoes, I've seen "em and it does look rather tacky. Of course, he has a stomach to match, if you get my meaning.

I enjoy wearing the Black High FJ Extreme's with my Black Icons and Long Pants, when I wear shorts I enjoy wearing the White Low FJ Extreme's with my White/Black Icon's. 

Generally, I have to wear socks although in another thread someone said they do not wear socks!  That is amazing!!

Ah the choices one must make to be fashionable.

I wear black with black shoes. I wear black with my white shoes, but they have significant black accents. With my 100% white shoes, I wear white. Now for the real question... what about brown?

I have a gorgeous pair of FJ Classic Tours that are made of pebbled Llama in brown. And with those, I have a pair of tan FJ low that I use, because I only wear these shoes with tan shorts.

If I wear trousers, I wear different color socks. If I wear shorts, white low cut socks.

And I know it's pretty bad, but I will not play with anyone wearing "golf sandals"

Golf sandals are a joke.  I wouldn't play with someone wearing those either.  They look so ridiculous!

If your name is Payne than it would be high socks.If your over 70 than it would be high socks. All others...........low socks.(color non specific) And, w/shorts well you all know the answer.

There are still a few old-fashioned clubs around where men aren't allowed to wear short socks (Sockettes they are called), they must wear knee-length socks with "Bermuda" shorts (usually 9" inseam, nothing shorter). I grew up playing at such a club. Those long socks are bloody expensive...  up to $20 per pair!

There are even a few where men can't wear shorts at all.
