My Sunday plans fell through, but I got to walk 9 holes on Monday. I've tried the Sigvaris (182c) compression socks over the last couple of years for long travel days and when walking on the course. They're great, but are a little thick and not good for hot days because they really hold the sweat.
This brings me to the FJ Tour Compression socks. Thinner than the Sigvaris, just as comfortable, and are very good wicking moisture away, so my feet weren't sweaty and the socks weren't weighed down with sweat afterwards. My legs and feet felt fine as well. Interested to see how they fare on much warmer days, and also interested to see how the sport length are. But the Tour Compression socks were great. Possibly better than the Merino wool socks, but need some time before making a judgement on that.
