Tom, I wash my gloves often, just to get the salt out from sweating. My procedure is to run the water in the kitchen sink, sok the glove, rub it lightly, wring it out and repeat 2 or 3 times. The treatment they give today's glove leathers allows this to work well. Next, I hang them to dry on a velcro strap and, as they are almost dry, delicately fit the glove on to give it shape. When completely dry, stretch it out a bit and put it on. You'll find you can double the life of your gloves. I hope that helps you out.

I wash my gloves with leather conditioner/cleaner. It doesn't happen often, but it keeps the glove supple and looking almost new.

do what fredcloss said it really works

I find it much easier to just take a new glove out of the box and toss the beat up dirty one in the trash!

LOL Rick - I can only wish as I'd sweat through a dozen gloves per week.

Do you use any detergent or soap?? I have never tried this before...sounds great!

Chris, I only use water - my hands and arms sweat in the heat and I have to change gloves after every shot in the summer as the sweat just soaks them. Hence, the salt builds up and that is what leads to the gloves cracking. So, water is the best thing I know of to dilute the salt and draw it out. Sometimes, after letting them dry, they may still be a little stiff from salt. So, I wash them again.

I've never washed a glove.  I always buy two and rotate them.  I also store them in their plastic cases after the round.  The gloves seem to last me long enough.  I might give em a wash though.  It sounds like it might work.

Bruce, not so much anymore. My wife used to say that if it got dirty, I traded it in. Last one was a record, 3 1/2 years.....

I also just rinse with water.  being addicted to golf gadgets, somewhere I got a hold of a plastic thing that is in the shape of a hand with fingers.   let's the glove dry without getting bunched up.  can't say that i've ever seen another plastic thingee like it.

Just washed my gloves less than 24 hours ago and they are still soft! Can't believe how nice they feel!

I don't wear a glove in the heavy sweat season. Put an extra wrap of tape under my grips. Easier to keep hands dry than a glove.
