Forget the original packaging! You do NOT properly store a glove in cardboard with a plastic window! As others have said, there is only one way to keep them supple>> put them into a plastic bag. Try not to allow any glove to be soaked through with sweat--change it when it becomes wet and loses some tackiness. Rotate at least two gloves. Some prefer to keep a glove for play only and rotate a couple of practice gloves.
obviously you want to dry them and air them out after a round. but according to FJ, keeping them in the packaging is fine.
having multiple gloves is great for keeping them fresh.
