These are wonderful to use in the cold, and even for more than just golfing. I wrote during last winter that I have a pair that I use as driving gloves, since the fleece backs keep my hands warm, while the palms are grippy and allow me to comfortably hold the steering wheel.
These are, like all FJ gloves, really solid performers, especially if you live where it's cold.
