    dear footjoy

just bought a pair of the raingrip gloves.

it is so hot here in savannah,ga , i needed something to help grip the club better due to the high humidity and sweat off my hands.

please do the following: go give the guy who came up with a raise!!

these rain grips are a game changer for the south.

i really don't think you know what you have done .

last week it was so hot i went thru 4 gloves on the front nine.

these gloves are effective and very comfortable. i can see these gloves becoming the standard for summer play.

    best regards

Since I cannot identify the person who came up with the RainGrip gloves, I'll happily accept the raise on his/her behalf!

In all honesty, thank you for the feedback. We're glad to hear you've found a solution for the high humidity in the south and hope the gloves lead to lower scores! Your reasons for wearing RainGrip are precisely the reasons JB Holmes wears RainGrip full time on Tour. Growing up in Kentucky his hands sweat a lot and he found himself going through bunches of gloves. He tried RainGrip in college as a potential option and has never looked back.

Thanks again for your feedback and welcome to the Community!

In the FL panhandle, we have the same heat and humidity issues.  I bought a pair of the Rain Grip gloves a couple of weeks ago, but haven't played in the rain since, so they are still unused.  They're just in the bag right now, but I'll give the left one a try one afternoon this week.  Thanks for the tip.  What happens if I decide to stick to them for summer though?  Being only sold in pairs, I envision  a pile of unused right gloves down the road...  Will they be available as singles?

Chris... a question on these Rain Grip products.

I am using the Golf Pride New Decade grips and I myself have found that the Rain Grip gloves are less grippy on these grips than others. When I used Wynn products, which became VERY slippery in the wet, the Rain Grip gloves were fabulous. But with these GP grips the results are a wee bit different.

Still love them, like Jimmie has said, but there is some difference.

    Jeff,

May want to give the SPDR2 glove a shot for your climate.

Thanks for the tip Shaun.  I've actually been keeping an eye out for one locally, but no luck yet.  Maybe I'll get lucky and win one along with some new Icons in the Bubba sweepstakes!

I finally got to try out the rain grip gloves today and I was impressed.  Got rained on 7 times in one round, and was less than thrilled about that.  Still haven't found a Spidr 2.
