No question in my mind that the Shark changed the colour landscape in golf in the 80s and 90s
He was the master of the bold print ... and must admit some were pretty gaudy ... but moved most away from the standard / basic colours and gear worn at the time.
Fortunately most of the players make a real effort these days and always love to see the coverage to catch what everyone is wearing.
With so much apparel out there now there really is no excuse ... but of course some still appear to have been dressed at night by a colourblind sylist.
Love the new style Rickie Fowler has adopted and courses around my area are now littered with PUMA gear so assuming he is worth every penny of sponsorship dollars he is getting.
BUT for me, the ultimate in class and stlying is the FJ Icon shoe ... and I still go WOW, WOW, WOW everytime I put them on or see another pair on the golf course.
