Unless its been abused, it should be just fine.  I have some FJ jackets that are older than 3 years that are still doing the job.

I have a FJ  rain suit over 10 years old and it is just fine. 3 years is nothing.

There is no such thing as "re waterproof." As a DryJoys product, you should be fine. Go put it on and stand in the shower. You'll know if it works fast

You're killin' me here, Don!  That's funny right there.

I have used a product from Nikwax for various outdoor backpacking gear that is available from REI stores.  They have a washin product but I think that also waterproofs the inside fabric which in my opinion does not help  the breathability. The washin is easier but I suggest the spray on version which you only use on the outside.  After three years you should be fine unless you have been washing your jacket excessively.   I played in Ireland and good rain gear - jacket, pants , bucket hat and the FJ raingloves- are a must.   You may want a full sleeve jacket as well as half though.  Enjoy your trip.

This is an interesting topic and will be better addressed by FJ personnel (Devin/Chris) or you may want to speak with FJ customer service.

Realistically, the FJ product line does not simply stop working after the 2 year warrantee.
