New Tour Collection Rain Jacket and Pants ISSUE/ PROBLEM/ WTF???

I haven't seen or heard of this problem. Heck, I rarely see a full black FJ rainsuit.

Could be a different manufacturer for jackets/pants.  I would think calling customer service would solve the problem.

Futurepro, he may not have an all black suit.  The white short sleeve rain jacket has black in it.

i just got the new tour collection rain jacket and pants,, the jacket is #35244 and the pants are #34647.

i am noticing the color of the "BLACK" between these pants and jacket are NOT matching at all?? the jacket is darker than the black of the pants..

has anyone else noticed this?

all my "BLACK" FJ rain suits have always matched,, but this is pretty noticeable!!.. i mean,, if you buy a "SUIT", you'd hope that the color of the pants match the color of the jacket..right???

another thing i notice is the size of the pants seem to run a little bigger than in the past... i would always wear a size Large in the pants prior,, but now need a Medium in this new tour collection line..

any input would be interesting..thanks!!

The tour collection pant and jacket I have are a perfect match, but it could be an issue with what is know in the buisiness as "shade banding". All product that should match in color (suits for example) have a specific shade band they can live in so the eye looks at them and sees they are the same color. Yours may have come from 2 different places and thus are alittle off. i am sure if you contacted customer service they would be able to help you out.

Is it possible the jacket is Tour Collection and pants are from the Performance Light Series? Just thought I would throw it out there although I certainly trust the style numbers you included in your post.

If you would be willing to send the pants back, I can replace them for you. They should definitely match the black in the jacket so want to be sure you have the "suit" you're looking for.

well, deno, considering i spent HUNDREDS of $$$ to get these pants,jacket and a rain shirt, i would have expected them to match.. no doubt customer service has been top notch!! but after many emails and phone conversations, i have learned that there is a dye variation between these items i got. there is nothing that can be done until FJ decides if they want to correct it or not.. as i am told,, these are not made to a "suit'..

to the poster above who claims his black matches perfect,, i highly doubt he has the same jacket AND pants i posted i got in the original post..as i was told by FJ,, that the style numbers i have do not match..they sent 2 sets of these and both have color variations..

so yes,, my initial wtf was meant as you think it did.. has nothing to do with customer service, it is just disappointing that i spent so much money on these items only to find out that it is a manufacturing issue. and whether it gets resolved or not is still up in the air..

fj customer service has been great!! for sure!!! i just posted this to get more input to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problem i did.. was told by cs, that i was pretty much the first person to discover this..just my luck!!

It was a geat post question for sure.  These items cost a pretty big hunk of change, when it isn't right,it's annoying.   I would be pretty angry also.  I was  jokin about the WTF???.   I would have said the same.  I hope you get some good results from FJ.   Keep us updated on your progress with customer service.   Since I've been on, I've seen alot of problems answered by Chris and I hope you get the same result.
