This is in response to Erics question about fit on the baselayer of FJ outerwear.
Today I was at the Grand Rapids, Michigan Golf Galaxy store and the entire assortment of FJ outerwear is in stock. I took a long look at the baselayer and how it compares to other products that are on the market. Here is the skinny...
It is a composite fabric, meaning it has lots of stretch to it. It is not the super body conforming material that UA uses, so it shouldn't pack you in (like a sausage) and restrict your movements. Seemed like a good amount of "give" to allow you to swing easily. The collar is not a full mock, but is between a crew neck and a mock neck. This seems well though out as it really fits the need for being warm, but not cooking in the fall transitional weather. For me, I though the neck was a pretty big innovation.
Hope this keeps people in the know!
