Custom Embroidery

Custom Embroidery

Other than shoes, can we order any custom embroidered items from FJ?  I know the pros get custom stuff, and I see alot of Titleist / FJ shirts and jackets on local pros and assistants.

    Great idea

  •

that would be a great option.

  •

That would certainly be something of interest for me.  Would be nice if its feasible.

If you talk to your local PGA Pro and he is a Titleist/FootJoy reseller he should be able to get some custom embroidery for you.

It becomes a question of volume. You can't order just 1 of something, generally you need to order 6 or 12 of an item to get anything custom done. If it is really special the cost can get out of hand pretty fast. There can be an artwork charge as well as a per piece charge.

Start with you local pro and he can give you all of the details.

A good tailor shop should also be able to help you out, and it may be less $.

  •

That sounds like a good idea to me. I would wear some embroidered clothing, outerwear, if it's reasonable.

  •

I think shaun has a great idea.  There are many embroidery places that have special machines that can do just about any image / logo...

All you have to do is supply the apparel and artwork and the artwork can be turned into the image sewn directly onto your apparel

The only question with taking it to an embroidery shop is if it voids any warranties or affects the waterproofing in any way.

Waterproofing would be affected for sure I would think, was more thinking along the lines of polos or hats.

FJ does very well on custom embroidery on clothing.  Once the logo is set up its easy to order it and much higher quality and less expensive than taking it to a local place.

that's what I was thinking shaun, shirts / hats...not sure if it would impact any sort of trademark or patent rules...guess you could ask the embroidery shop.
