Randy, do you know if FootJoy pants have a split at the bottom?  It shows the shoes more without having to have the pants up ankle high.

Definitely need gray pants. Light and medium gray would be great, but you have to have at least one gray.

We have some grey's coming in the future.  We had to test the waters with the pants that are currently in the line before really diving into more options.

    Thanks, love grey

Hey Randy, what color is grey? Is that Scottish or something. :-)

OK, Guys, I found out a couple of things about the split bottom on pants or whatever it's called.

    1.  It's easy enough to have the pants redesigned.  A local tailor said, she'd do it for me for a minimal cost.

    2.  FootJoy does not come with the split bottom style.

I may be the only one looking into this, but I thought it was stylish enough to bring it out out here and have some FJ community discussion and hear some ideas. But then, I guess, I should have started my own thread about it.  But then, again, it's just one little style topic if no one minds.

In any case, whoever makes those split in the bottom of the pants, they had "STYLISH SHOES in mind".

Now that I am getting into a little bit of style in the way I like to look on the course with FootJoy shoes and apparels it's easy to put good things and ideas together, I don't see me going back to wearing the same pair for another eight years before I look at another style.  (Thanks to the FJC)  Icons, not to mention, MyJoys, are a great styling pair of shoes without having to explain them and they are meant to be uniquely expressive and make an impression.

I hope the community, and ultimately FootJoy considers something like this.

    what do you guys think?

I can't even find what I'm talking about in the internet stores . . . I GIVE UP!

Noel, many different manufacturers make pants with split seams. Some use just the outside seam, others split both seams. Personally, I like the split seam best for golf. Cuffs look nice, but catch too much grass as you are playing. And as you said, the split seam shows more of your cool FootJoys.

I hope the FootJoy pants are offered with the split seam option someday soon, that would be great.

    And as for "gray", I found this online;

grAy is how it's spelled in America
grEy is how it's spelled in England

"Is it grey or gray?" is likely one of the most frequently asked questions in regards to common misspellings, however there are many other commonly misspelled words related to regional differences. In most cases American spellings seem to be a bit more phonetic. Here's a handy chart.

Interesting Don!  Learning English when I was a kid, it was spelled "grey", up until we migrated here in the States when someone noticed how I spelled it and said, "g-r-a-y".

I laughed and then they laughed back. . . I was embarrassed but it was the funniest home room class I was in.
