FJ Collar Polo - Size: XL

  •

Was looking around the bay and found this item someone may be interested in... only 30$ with shipping.  I question the authenticity since it's such a low cost but it could be someone's lucky day... power-seller with 99.8% positive feedback.

I don't know if I went to the exact site you saw Kelly, but on Ebay there are plenty of the FJ shirts on sale now. Evidently they are last years models and fabrics and some do have the FJ on the right side of the collar. All are in the price range you showed and there was one of the new fabric and the price was a lot higher. There were also a number of different sizes available. I just went to Ebay, clicked on clothing and wrote in FJ Shirts. Three pages came up and lots of color choices.

Yes, after I posted the link I saw a bunch more for sale.  All are by the same seller.  May be something to look at for you guys are really want the shirts with the FJ collar.

    Eric and Gary...

I scoped some of these out as well, and it brings me to a question to the FJ Staff for consideration.

Right now on eBay there a great many products that are for sale from folks that have access to "FJ or Titleist" Tour products. There were several Circle T headcovers from Scotty Cameron and countless shirts and pullovers from both FJ and Titleist. It begs the question, and this is for everyone who sells a product, how do you want you brand to be acquired by the consumer?

No malice to eBay here at all. They are an open marketplace of individuals. It's the individual that is selling and presenting the brand for sale to you and I. This hits at that root request many of us have which is, how do we get access to some of these items directly? If any FJ Ambassador wants to but a shirt or a SC headcover, we have to go through the gauntlet to win one or some other means. Others who have tour type status, have access to the products and then the ability to sell to us. I believe what most of us have said is we prefer to deal directly with the source, FJ or Titleist.

I know this is a big catch 22. But having someone who has this "all access" and then traffics to folks through eBay rankles me a tad, because I'm trying to carry forward the appropriate brand image. Subsequently, this reinforces my hopes that FJ can dial up a revenue genrating e-commerce site that we can utilize. I know I for one will be buying for my own use and not for resale via some other site....

    Thoughts?

Dead on Tar Heel. If I were to get a circle T headcover from a pro or a piece of FJ as a gift from a rep or pro I would cherish it rather than try an make a few dollars on it. Not to mention you have no idea what your getting from the bay...thats why they call it Ebay: vast, open, and in some parts dark. I get my gear from a place I can trust. I trust FJ and SC because they have proven it to me over time.

We hear you guys, loud and clear. And we agree with you. It's somewhat complicated to set this up, however. With the Community and Ambassador program not even a year old, we have learned a lot and we have a lot to learn. We also realize the potential of this site and the audience. Ideas like putting the FJA logo on golf items, growing the number of users and finding ways to improve the speed of posts are a little easier than setting up an account to allow consumers to buy direct. As someone mentioned, going e-commerce on the site would help, we're just not there yet. As we've said before, we're listening and every recommendation is considered internally. You have made this site a success, you help us improve our overall customer experience and products, and we appreciate it. You might just have to be a little patient when it comes to buying FJ and FJA merchandise direct.

Thanks for your support and understanding.

    Regards,

    Chris

    Chris,

Thaks for an honest and complete answer this this request. I know that the Team @ FJ is working had to keep us all happy and if there is any possibility that any of these requests can be made to happen that you will get it done.

Thanks again for making this Community what is is.

  •

Thanks Chris, means alot that we can get the truth in a short amount of time. Love being a customer of FJ and in the community.

  •

I reiterate what 19hole has said. the honesty and complete and prompt response is what this site was established on and still carries on in that tradition. If yu do get around to e-commerce, I for one, will be more than happy to buy direct. I like quality products and don't exactly trust many of those on Ebay, regardless of their promise to warranty many of the items.
