At FJ, we never do anything half way, so if we were to ever do this, we would only launch it when we know we have made the best quality product we can.  No promises at this point, but we will certainly take the feedback you have been providing and see where it takes us.  

 

Clearly why there are so many devoted community members here.

Great reply Mike, guess we will have to hold on for a while until the opportunity presents itself to FJ to go with a belt line as fashion for seems to be the hot topic right now.

Maybe in the past when FJ was into belts it wasn't "fashionable" to match belts to shirts/pants but with all the new color schemes out there right now, now is a good time for FJ to reconsider entering the belt arena?

Thoughts on that Mike???

IN FACT MIX AND MATCH ANY MYJOY COLORS ON ANY OUTERWEAR WOULD BE COOL.

Okay Mike, we'll wait and se if FJ does come out with a series of belts. In the meantime, count my vote in for a positive on the belts.

Mike, you're spot on that this has potential, but there is a capital investment to look at, which is a tough sell anywhere these days. Trust me, I see that every day!

But now that several of your staff players are taking up the MyJoys Icons in droves, capitalizing on the millions of options, perhaps some innovation could play. I'm especially thinking that with players like Camillo and IJP, they use multiple shoes with matching belts, so that could be a "path." I'm pretty sure your records show what colors are most used, so adding a palette of "start small" and building might work out.

You guys are top nothc, so buying a belt from Bettinardi or Addidas sort of rubs me the wrong way. But in the absence of something else, I'm stuck. Maybe for 2011?

Maybe the matching belts are being delivered this weekend at Bay Hill. I would be more than glad to purchase a few matching belts, provided FJ will buy me the buckle.

I'd love to see an FJ buckle out there in addition to some matching belts for MyJoys, I think they be very very popular.

Would you consider an FJ belt buckle.  Something that could be used with either leather or canvas belts.  This way until you are sure that it is a worth while invesment we can try to match up as best as possible the belt with the shoes and use your emblem.

For that matter what about one with the Ambassador emblem?

I would just need the buckle.  It just needs to accept snap belts that are 1.5".  That would be sweet!!!

That is one sweet looking belt buckle. Hopefully FootJoy will bring that to market or offer it for sale to ambassadors.

The idea for a MyJoys belt does seem like a nice progression.  We have mentioned it to our product development teams and we are looking into it.  No promises on whether it will happen or timing, but we are really happy to hear everyone is enjoying the customization and wants to take it one step further.

Here's an FJ buckle from an early community contest...it's definitely killer.

You could also use the FJ belts with Vokey store and Cameron's Store.  More cross branding can be a good thing.  I understand FJ not wanting to totally alienate the non-Titleist loyalists who are FJ loyalists.  I would think there are synergies out there though!
