If you're still looking for the world's best golfers this week and interested in seeing some exciting team golf, be sure to tune in to The Golf Channel for coverage of the World Cup of Golf. The Championship is a 72-hole stroke play team event with each team consisting of two players who must have been born in the country they represent. The first and third days are four-ball (best ball) play and the second and final days are foursomes play. A total of 28 teams, each one of different nationality, are competing in the 2009 Omega Mission Hills World Cup, most of which feature stars from the PGA and European Tours including Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter, Ross Fisher, Nick Watney, John Merrick, Robert Karlsson, Henrik Stenson and Ryuji Imada. Stenson and Karlsson won the event last year but will face strong competition from several teams, including England (Poulter/Fisher) and the United States (Watney/Merrick) who aim to win a record 24th title for the U.S.

I'm hoping for a wee bit o' luck for the Irish boys.  Great post Chris, is FJ ICONs style #52187 popular?  Haven't seen anyone wearing them... bicycle toe looks more like an office shoe to me, would buy them spikeless for sure.

Wow, what an awesome set of views this course has. Those vistas are spectacular.

Looked like the coolest shoes so far belonged to Mr. Alex Cejka and #52187... Sweet kicks!

Just fantastic photos. Beautiful course layout. Lets all root for the USA teams and those sharp looking ICONS

Don't think the US team is going to do it this time, but Ireland is really making a good show of it and is 3 up on the competition. And  Rory is wearing FJ MyJoys.

Well, the Italians won and the Irish just missed by one stroke. That's life on the Tour, but we got to see some really good golf and a beautiful course. One thing I did notice was that the crowds were much more polite than at the last Tournament in China when TW had a rough time with the crowds. Maybe they were better behaved because there were no really big name golfers there for this one.

Regardless, the tournamment was exciting right down to the end.

The 52187 is a wonderful looking shoe -  wonder if that be available in multiple colors?
