I ordered a pair of Dry Joys for the pro shop at the club (Maumelle CC, Maumelle, AR) hoping they would support my left ankle that turns to the ouside. After 2 rounds they were lacking in support and I was very disappointed. Don\'t know what to do? Shoes are very comfortable except for the lack of support.

Any suggestions or help on any or your models that would give more support when walking?

Thanks,  Tony  501 840 2121

I bemoaned the passing of the leather soled, full welt oxfords that I have worn for over forty-five years.  I understand that the labor required to manufacture the oxfords was too geat to warrant their continued manufacture.

I suppose the new ICON will have to do.

I've been trying to figure out why you discontinued making the FootJoy JoyWalker.

I have had to settle for a much less comfortable brand of walking shoe.

I enjoyed the ability to set the heel softness by using the two heel inserts that came with each pair.

I'd love it if they paid attention to us Diabetic golfer's as we need a softer foot bed. I love my ReelFits but the toe is too narrow for comfort, and that's in the wide fitting. Good looking shoes though.

that welt you're bemoaning was what happened to the bottom of your foot when they got worn out (which took quite a while).  While I miss those classic designs and materials, the new stuff wears great and is much lighter.

Why doesn't FOOTJOY bring back the old CORDOVAN or BURGANDY colored shoe as a standard choice?  That is a great color and I have some old FOOTJOY's that everyone asks me where I can get a pair.  I say, "Sorry-obsolete."

Kyle Lawler wrote re: See the Full Range of FJ ICON Styles

I've owned FJs since I began playing golf (almost 40 years ago) and always loved the style/fit/feel.  I have a narrow foot and must admit I've begun purchasing other brands due to the fact the FJ seems to limit the narrow (B width with AA heel) widths to only the simplest/most common shoe style/color.

Give those of us with narrow feet a chance to enjoy the entire line-up (even if only the MyJoys process).

Do to our extensive product development and testing processes, we are confident that FJ ICON shoes will be every bit as durable as every other shoe in our product line.  To answer your second question, the MSRP or FJ ICON shoes is $250.

Mr. Forde -

One of the advantages of new FJ ICON is the removable fit-bed.  You are now able to insert any custom orthodic or specialized after-market footbed you like.

If you are looking for a super soft underfoot ride, you should take a look at our Contour Series golf shoes.  You won't believe the underfoot softness and flexibility.

Love Footjoy, but I am guessing that these are going to replace the classics line then?  Other than 2 styles, I am pretty disappointed with the new line.  These aren't that attractive....

Chris Burton wrote re: See the Full Range of FJ ICON Styles

250 is 2x more than these "look." I was more than happy to buy 20+ pair of classics/tours over the past 10 years... at 250+/pop... I do not see paying 250 for "SLIGHTLY" dressed up Dryjoys. The uppers are VERY disappointing... sure accent leathers are "fine" but the primary leather really looks like ya'll cheeped out.

Chris wrote re: See the Full Range of FJ ICON Styles

renamed dry-joys?... you guys can't do better than this? ...they look okay, assuming they're <$100. I'm sure glad I've stocked up on Classics/Tours in the past few years.

As a Foot Joy customer since 1960, I can say without a moments consideration that no one can touch the consistency of customer service, customer communication, quick handling of problems and going above and beyond to stand behind their products.

For years, FootJoy has set the standards for speed and fairness in handling problems.

Mike:  Did you ever introduce a Ladies Line comparable to the new ICONs?  I see that FJ is advertising the ICON's on TV during the LPGA tournaments.  I just love the styles/colors in that line but my understanding is that this is a "Men only" shoe.
