Our Tour reps are onsite at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship this week and sent some photos from inside the locker room on Tuesday. The locker rooms can be busy, especially early in the week, as players arrive and get settled for what they hope is a long (successful) week. We also have some nice photos from our Tour staff on the Nationwide Tour. The crew is in Richmond, Virginia this week for the Henrico County Open. Check out the slideshow to see what was going on at both events...

We'll be blogging next week from the Wachovia Championship and want you to help us interview the Tour players. So click on "Add a Comment" and submit a question you would like to ask a Tour player - either related to their shoes, gloves or outerwear or just something in general, such as how they decide what to wear each week or which golf course or baseball team is their favorite. We'll pose your questions to our FootJoy players in Charlotte and post their responses upon our return.

We spoke with Skip Haugen this week, one of the FootJoy representatives on the PGA Tour, and he had some interesting feedback regarding the MyJoys with the new camo leather pattern. Shipped to a handful of players the week before the Masters, Skip said the reaction has been great from players and fans. Boo told Skip his MyJoys "caused quite a stir in Augusta, both inside and outside the ropes." Davis Love also raised some eyebrows when he wore them during the Pro-Am this week. He told Skip "I could have sold about a dozen pair of these MyJoys during the Pro-Am...everyone loved them!" In addition to Boo and Davis, you can also keep an eye on these players who also requested the new camo leather pattern -David Toms, John Riegger and Brett Wetterich, who also wore them last week in Augusta. If you like what you see, build your own custom shoes at MyJoys.com.
We received the following update from Jonathan Loosemore, one our European Tour reps at the Volvo China Open... Plenty to report from Beijing: 2007 Volvo China Open winner, Markus Brier (right), broke out a new pair of white smooth/brown tumbled ReelFit for his title defence in Beijing this week. Brier, who chooses to wear ReelFit exclusively also was excited to order some new SciFlex Colour gloves... being a patriot, he ordered mostly red gloves, since red/white are his national colours but also chose some to match his new shirts for the season. Other SciFlex wearers were given the chance to order SciFlex Colours this week too... many chose a selection of colours to match their clothing. Pre-tournament favourite, Graeme McDowell, was delighted with his shipment of FootJoy golf socks he received last week. He proudly flashed his ProDry socks to me as he walked onto the range to prepare for Wednesday's pro-am!! Titleist/FootJoy staffer, Jose-Filipe Lima, was praising the new DryJoys this week. He has been trying the shoes for the last few weeks and has decided he would like to wear them almost exclusively. He said he felt a lot less tired after a round due to the improved cushioning of the PODS. Challenge Tour graduate, Leif Westerberg, has now received his custom built Classics Tour... the left shoe has been built up by one centimetre to help him overcome a leg-length discrepancy that has been causing him discomfort for a number of years. He is very happy with the results of FootJoy's custom team. Soren Kjeldsen, Ross McGowan and Asian Tour staffer Prom Meesawat are now proudly displaying FJ logos on their collars. That's all for this week. Cheers!
