KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
John Senden took home the Valspar Championship with a final round one under par 70 to win by one stroke over fellow FJ Staffer, Kevin Na. Senden shot up the leaderboard thanks to a third round 64 that left him two shy of the 54 hole lead. Senden's Sunday chase began with a birdie on the opening hole. Conditions, then, toughened as the winds picked up making scoring even more difficult across the brutal Copperhead course. But out in one under par 34, Senden had a chance to take home the title. To heighten his chances at victory, he birdied two of the three difficult holes that make up the course's "Snake Pit". Adding a long two putt for par at the last gave Senden the lead in the clubhouse that sustained despite the players still on the course.
No player could match the seven under par total giving John Senden his first PGA Tour Victory since 2006. "If I could just stay in the moment, I knew I was swinging well enough to give it a shake," Senden said of his chances to win. The Australian relied on FJ Icon golf shoes and the Pure Touch Limited glove en route to victory. PGA Tour Rookie, Chesson Hadley won the Puerto Rico Open in only his 13th PGA Tour start. The Georgia Tech standout captured the lead thanks for a third round 66. Stating post round, "You got to stay aggressive out here. I've learned that. For me, if I kind of take the foot off the pedal a little bit, I'll kind of lose focus and I won't be as sharp as I would like to be, so I plan on being really aggressive."
Hadley's plan for Sunday's final round was a good one, making birdies on three of his first five holes to maintain control of the tournament. Making the turn in 33, Hadley played mistake free golf the rest of the way. Adding birdies at 17 and 18 to post a four day total of 21 under par, two clear of his closest competitors.
Hadley looked to his Web.com experience the previous year to pull through on Sunday, "The two wins last year, that helps a lot because you're there, you've learned how to win, you learn how not to choke, and there's a lot going on."
The win gives Hadley a two-year tour exemption on the PGA Tour and spots in The Players Championship, PGA Championship and 2015 Tournament of Champions.
Hadley relied on the most stable shoe in the FJ line, Custom XPS-1 MyJoys golf shoes and the FJ StaSof golf glove.

Jimmy Walker held off his pursuants to take home the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this weekend on a cold, wet, and windy day on the Monterey Peninsula.
Carrying a six stroke lead into the final round, Walker made it his tournament to win. He proceeded to card a front nine one-under par 35 to keep the big lead. On the back, Walker dropped a few shots but still got the job done by holing a par putt on the famous 18th at Pebble securing tory.
Walker relied on FJ Icon and StaSof during all four days of the inclement weather-plagued tournament.
This is Walker's third victory of the still infantile 2014 PGA Season. The win also increases his lead in the season long 2014 Fedex Cup points race.
