We're down in Charlotte this week at the Wachovia Championship where many of the top players in the world have gathered to take a shot at the blue jacket. The story so far has been the weather. The course was closed Monday due to heavy rain and tornado warnings and Tuesday brought unseasonably cold temperatures with temps in the low 50's and wind gusts around 20mph. We were in the locker room and on the range most of the day and will get out on the course tomorrow to show you the grounds at Quail Hollow. Check back throughout the week for updates and click on "Add a Comment" to let us know if there's anything you want to see this week.

Adam Scott made a clutch 9-foot birdie putt on No. 18 to force a playoff, then drained a 48-footer playing it again on the third playoff hole to win the EDS Byron Nelson Championship on Sunday. Playing the par four 18th hole for the third time in less than an hour, the second time in the playoff, Scott hit his tee shot into a fairway bunker to the right. He got his approach to the front of the green, then rolled the putt over two ridges and into the cup for his sixth career PGA Tour victory. Scott wore the DryJoys Traditional with the stability PODS™ outsole (style #53597) during the dramatic final round.
Playing conditions at the redesigned TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas, which reopened for play just this week, changed drastically again after rain overnight combined with blustery conditions Sunday. It was an unseasonable cool day with temperatures barely reaching 60 degrees, with wind gusting to 30 mph making it feel even cooler. The winning score of 7-under 273 was the highest since the EDS Byron Nelson Championship moved to the Las Colinas venue in 1983.
It was the 16th playoff at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship since 1968, more than any other tournament on the PGA TOUR.
Check out this interview with Adam Scott following his dramatic victory at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. Adam wore a pair of DryJoys Traditional (style #53597) with the stability PODS outsole both Saturday and Sunday en route to his sixth career PGA Tour victory.

The young Aussie, who wore a pair of all white DryJoys #53531 on Friday, came out of the gate strong with four birdies in a row on a difficult TPC Four Seasons course as he pursues his sixth career PGA Tour victory. Watch this interview to hear his thoughts on the second round, how he'll prepare for the final 36 holes and what sporting event he'll attend tonight to take his mind off of golf for a few hours.

Our European Tour staff is in Shanghai, China this week for the BMW Asian Open. However, a lot of the talk early in the week was about the wild rain players endured during the final round last week in Beijing. A lot of players were singing the praises of their FootJoys...
Markus Brier commented that his pair of ReelFit (right, top) kept him completely dry and their lightness helped him through a very long Sunday.
Louis Oosthuizen heard enough comments about the new DryJoys last weekend that he has ordered two pairs to try in the coming weeks.
Graeme McDowell said that his ProDry Golf Socks came through a tough test in Beijing with flying colours. He said the benefits from the cushioning of a brand new pair were terrific in the poor weather conditions of last weekend.
Looking forward to this week, here are a few other items that were discussed...
Martin Kaymer returned to action on the PGA European Tour wearing a sporty pair of all-white Classics Dry Premiere (right, bottom). After a discussion with him, we have decided he should try a narrower fit so he can benefit from greater support and stability... we will get something to him to try as quickly as possible.
Michael Lorenzo-Vera asked about buying a pair of Exotics. His countrymen who have bought recently are so happy with theirs that he feels he can't miss out!!
