Fresh off his PGA Tour victory at the John Deere Classic, Jordan Spieth headed to the FJ Cabin on the range of Muirfield Golf Club for a shoe fitting with our European Tour Reps. He found out he has been wearing the wrong shoe size! Jordan had to go a half size smaller and move from a medium width to a narrow.
Here is a video of the fitting, ENJOY!
Here is a how to properly fit yourself for FJ golf shoes!
Hmm. This should help his game. Unbelievable. He wasn't properly fit before.
What's more, you should check the size in the various models - the ICON fits different than the XPS-1 or DryJoy Tour.
That "rule of thumb" fitting video is invaluable. It's sad to say, but its very difficult these days to find either pro shop or store staff who really know how to fit a customer for shoes. Most have no idea how to read a Brannock device.
Hope the fitting benefits Jordan and helps him do well at Muirfield. This game starts from the ground up, and he's in the best shoes made.
Amazing how well he played in the old faith full shoes that were a mere half size too big. This fitting will improve his game for sure :)
Oh man...the fitting video was eye opening. I think my shoes are too big. Time to order new MyJoys!
Interesting that he has been wearing the wrong shoe size! One would think with the resources he had growing up that someone would have properly fit him!
