Aussie, Greg Chalmers won the Australian Open two weeks ago and quickly rode his new found confidence to another victory in the Australian PGA Championship.

Six strokes behind at the beginning of the final round Chalmers was a long shot to take home the trophy.  Knowing he would have to go low to have a chance, Chalmers wearing DryJoys Tour made six birdies en-route to a final round 67 - the low round of the day.  With the addition of some sloppy play by the third round leaders and Chalmers was sitting atop the leaderboard in a three-way tie for first place.  Now headed to a playoff, Chalmers' competitors hit wild tee shots opening the door for Chalmers to win the tournament with a routine par.

Chalmers later stated, "I was surprised to see that a par was good enough, but that's how it goes sometime in a playoff."  With the win, he now has a chance to claim the Australian Triple Crown at the Australian Masters in two weeks.

Fellow Australian, Adam Scott finished tied for fourth and feels that his game is shaping up nicely, stating post-round, "I feel like the second half of this year I have been right in the mix, it's something to work on for next year. I feel like I'm knocking on the door.''
