Adam Scott fired a 3-under 68 to win the Barclays Singapore Open for the third time. Adam, who was also victorious here in 2006 and 2007, laced up a pair of FJ ICON style #52005 and wore a StaSof glove en route to his seventh career European Tour title. Following a five hour rain delay on Sunday, the leaders returned to the course Monday morning to play the back nine.
Chased by several players from start to finish, including Ian Poulter who won here last year, the former World Number Three parred the 16th and 17th before finishing with a flourish when he birdied from 12 feet at the last for a three shot margin of victory.
“It feels great,” said Scott, who last won on The European Tour two and a half years ago. “Relief to finally get finished, it’s been a bit of a long week. I’m very happy to be winning here again.
Another great win for Titleist and FJ!
Great job Adam. It's a great way to end the season with a win.Two wins is fantastic
Glad to see Scott pulling off the win. Another FJ win. He showed he could hold the lead under pressure for 3 days.
Scott has been hanging around the top spots all year andhe is one of the up and coming new stars on the Tour. Glad to see him win this one, especially with the FootJoy Gear.
