This Sunday at Torrey Pines, Scott Stallings shot a final round 68 to emerge victorious from a jam packed leaderboard.
Beginning the day three shots out of the lead on the coastal California course, Stallings birdied six of his last eleven holes to reach nine under par. This included a two putt birdie at the last hole to give him the lead. The only player who had an opportunity to catch Stallings was the Australian Marc Leishman. Needing eagle to tie, Leishman nearly holed his third shot on the par five last hole but had to settle for a tap in par and a T2 performance. Canadian, Graham Delaet also finished the tournament in a tie for second.
Stallings relied on the all new D.N.A. golf shoe and Pure Touch Limited golf glove during his final round. Leishman also relied on D.N.A. during his week in California.
This is Stallings third PGA Tour victory. The win also moves Stallings into the top 64 in the world, making him eligible for the WGC Accenture Match Play next month.

A key strand in FootJoy's DNA is comfort. It's important to us because it's important to every player and it's something we never compromise. However, that doesn't mean there isn't room to be innovative! So with this product, we took the midsole, which is the layer between the upper and the outsole that generally contains most of the cushion in a shoe, and relocated it to the FitBed®….hence the Xtra-thick FTF FitBed. We did not remove any cushion, or comfort, but actually enhanced it by moving it inside the shoe where you will feel it, and appreciate it, the most!
In addition, FTF™, or Fine Tuned Foam is a new material that has been used in the FitBed. Two densities of FTF were included - a firmer density to provide stability within the shoe and a softer density for comfort - with the end result being industry-leading in-shoe comfort.

NitroThin™ TPU outsole
The new NitroThin™ TPU (thermoplastic urethane) outsole for this new shoe has been in development for several years to ensure ample time for experimenting with new materials, new methods of constructing the outsole and configuring traction elements and also rigorous testing of each component and the finished product. The result is a thinner outsole that delivers lightweight stability and performance as well as flexibility and feel.
Did You Know…about 60% of people have different sized feet? For about 80% of these people, their bigger foot is their left foot. The difference in sizes is small enough that it doesn't require two different sized shoes.

You may consider it a stretch to think about the tongue of a shoe as an important component that delivers actual benefits. However, think back to shoes you've had where the tongue would wander off to the side or was too thick or too thin and caused discomfort on the top of your foot. With over 150 years of shoe making experience, we have learned that every component, every material and every stitch in making a golf shoe is critical to the overall comfort and performance. The SnugFit tongue does what a tongue is supposed to do, and maybe a little bit more. It is designed with various materials and densities to conform to the top of your foot and provide better fit, comfort and protection. It also includes MicroVent™ technology for enhanced breathability.Did You Know…you should have a thumbs width between the top two eyelets of a laced golf shoe? More than a thumbs width, the shoe is likely too small/narrow; Less than a thumbs width, the shoe is likely too big/wide.
