The entire FJ family is extremely excited to announce that Jimmy Walker will wear FJ Apparel on the PGA Tour for the 2015 season. Jimmy, who currently is ranked #19 in the official world golf ranking, will begin wearing FJ Apparel this week as he defends his title at the Fry's.com Open in Napa.
Walker had a breakout 2014 season on the PGA Tour, winning three times and earning a Ryder Cup spot.
Jimmy Walker will continue to rely on both the FJ ICON and D.N.A. golf shoes and the StaSof golf glove.
Steve Stricker and Brooks Keopka will accompany Walker as FJ Apparel wearers for the 2015 season.
The new face of FJ Apparel across the pond is Austrian, Bernd Wiesberger. Twice a winner in 2012, Bernd looks to take his momentum from last season and really make a splash in the golf world during 2013.
Bernd stated in a recent interview with Sky Sport, "Last year was great and I want to at least match my success of last year and give myself the best chances to win big tournaments and improve my world ranking to enable me to compete in as many Major Championships and World Golf Championships as possible. It's all about winning championships and getting myself into good positions to challenge for big titles this year."
He even went as far to mention his fresh new apparel for the new year, "I really enjoy looking good on the golf course and feeling comfortable, so naturally I am really excited to be one of FootJoy's Apparel ambassadors in 2013. I really enjoy the FJ collection and have just been introduced to the whole line up for the 2013 season, which I am honoured and excited to be wearing this year on tour. It's important that you wear high performing golf apparel so that you can play your best in whatever weather conditions you may face out on the course. Whether it is golf clubs or apparel, a golfer's equipment should be the best fitting for that individual to perform their best and this is where FJ excel."
Bernd, we are just as excited as you are and look forward to having a stellar year with you representing FJ on the worldwide circuit!
Hello FJ Community,
We are so excited about our upcoming Spring 2013 FJ Apparel line, that we want to give you, our FJ Community members, the very first sneak peak.
The FJ Tour Insider is back and this week we are covering the Irish Open. The strong field and major-esque venue has created much buzz around this event, leading to the first ever sell out of a non-major European Tour event! With the British Open just around the corner, many FJ players are using this as a tune up for next month's major at Royal Lytham and St. Annes. FJ Ambassadors, Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington are looking to give their thousands of local followers a good showing this week, hopefully with a win!
It should be a great week of golf on the rustic Northern Irish coastline.

Zach Johnson held off fellow FJ staffer, Jason Dufner to win the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club in Forth Worth, TX. Dufner, coming off two wins in the past month, had the upper hand beginning the round with a one stroke lead over Johnson.
Johnson in DryJoys Tour MyJoys and StaSof, struck first birdieing the second hole to Dufner's bogey. Dufner (FJ Apparel and FJ ICON) fought back with birdies at five and six to retake the lead. Johnson remained steady and both players headed to the back nine tied.
On the par five 11th Johnson birdied to Dufner's bogey creating a two shot lead for the Iowa native. Johnson extended the lead on the 15th hole to three shots. Johnson would not relinquish his lead eventually winning by one stroke over Dufner.
“In some respects, I kind of feel like I took down a lion,” Johnson said of Dufner post round, adding, "He’s been at the top of his game.”
This is Johnson's eighth PGA Tour victory and first since winning the Crown Plaza Invitational in 2010. The win also moves Johnson to third in the FedEx Cup race while Dufner remains at the top.

Jason Dufner (XPS-1 and FJ Apparel) won the HP Byron Nelson Championship in dramatic fashion by holing a 25 foot birdie putt on the last hole of regulation to win by one over fellow FJ staffer, Dicky Pride (FJ Sport and SciFlex).
Beginning the day with the lead, Dufner fell behind with early bogeys on two and three. He bounced back quickly with a birdie on the fourth, fifth, and seventh holes to join the leaders at nine under par.
He added a birdie at ten to retake the lead alone. Dufner, first in greens in regulation and second in driving accuracy, birdied the sixteenth hole to keep pace with surging playing competitors. On the final hole, with a hazard left and trees right, Dufner launched his tee ball straight up the middle. With only a short wedge shot left, Dufner played a shot to the middle of the green, 25 feet from the pin. He then poured in the downhill, right to left putt for the one stroke victory.
Post round Dufner stated, "You probably couldn't dream it any better than what's been going on
here" Continuing, "The wedding has been in the works for close to a
year, so we know that's been coming around the corner. And there's been a
lot of good golf since then, but to win two events and get married in
the span of 22 days, pretty remarkable."
This is Dufner's second win in his past three starts. The win also moves him to the top spot on the FedEx Cup leaderboard and into third place on the Ryder Cup points list.

Jason Dufner has been on the cusp of winning several tournaments in the past two years and today he fulfilled his potential by claiming the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Through the first three rounds of play, Dufner shot rounds of 67-65-67 to sit atop the leaderboard at 17-under par, two clear of his competition heading into Sunday's final round.
Dufner, wearing XPS-1 and FJ Apparel, started off the day with five straight pars before a bogey on the sixth hole that dropped him from the lead. He rebounded quickly with back-to-back birdies on seven and eight to retake the top spot. Dufner added another birdie at 10 to retain his lead. Then after several gutsy back nine par saves, Dufner's drive on the par four 16th found a hazard. With an alligator lurking nearby, Dufner wisely took a drop and hit his ball to the right side of the green. Now looking at 40-plus feet for par to stay tied for the lead, Dufner calmly rolled in the improbable putt to keep his momentum. After grinding out two more pars on 17 and 18, Dufner was headed to a sudden death playoff.
Both players exchanged pars on the opening playoff hole and they headed back to the 18th tee for the third time today. This time Dufner seized the moment, hitting the par five 18th in two shots and making a routine two putts for birdie and the victory. This is Dufner's first PGA Tour win. Post round Dufner stated of his winning performance, "I am really, really excited and to get the monkey off my back is a great feeling".
Luke Donald (FJ ICON MyJoys) also put on an impressive performance, shooting a final round 67 to finish solo third and retaking the number one spot on the Official World Golf Rankings.

Former British Open Champion, Ben Curtis captured an emotional victory in San Antonio this week at the Valero Texas Open. Curtis in head to toe FJ performance apparel, opened the week with back to back 67's, racing up the leaderboard with the 10-under par total. Blustery winds made scoring difficult on Saturday as Curtis shot a one over par 73, despite the over par score Curtis retained the lead heading into the final round.
The tough scoring conditions from Saturday carried over to the final round, but Curtis (DryJoys Tour and StaSof) kept his head down and grinded out a front nine 35 to remain ahead of his challengers. Then Curtis made early bogey's on the back nine to drop into a tie for the lead. He fought back, making a string of pars before holing an unlikely 23-footer on the 17th hole to remain one ahead of his competition. On the final hole, Curtis's challengers failed to make birdie giving Curtis two putts for the win. He would finish the tournament out in style, holing the 12-footer for birdie and a two stroke victory.
This is Curtis's fourth PGA Tour win and first in the last six years adding post round, "It's been a tough couple of years just fighting through it." The win moves Curtis to the 28th spot on the FedEx Cup rankings.

With the launch of our new FJ Apparel line we are often asked, "Who is contracted to wear the new FJ apparel on the PGA Tour?"
The answer is simple, "Steve Stricker."
That of course only tells a part of the story as several players like Jason Dufner, Brendon DeJonge, Jason Bohn, and Kris Blanks among many others choose to wear the apparel. Forgoing a formal contract, these players decidedly wear FJ apparel because they believe the performance benefits beat the competition.

FootJoy, the #1 shoe, glove, sock and outerwear brand in golf, announces its plan to enter the full line golf apparel business. With shipments beginning in January, 2012, FootJoy will feature a complete range of men’s golf apparel comprised of performance fabrics to complement the existing line of advanced outerwear. The line will begin with a core range of essential performance offerings that will be in-stock from season to season. This assortment will be supplemented by multiple color story collections for the Spring and Fall that feature contemporary colors and patterns in a variety of styles and performance fabrics. The design focus will be on one sport – golf, which is FootJoy’s sole passion.“Following our success in the outerwear category, including the recently launched and highly popular layering system, the time has come for FootJoy to enter the full line men’s golf apparel business,” said Andy Jones, Vice President, Gloves/Accessories/Apparel, Worldwide. “This strategic initiative has been carefully considered for several years and is supported by an extremely sophisticated and comprehensive study of the golf apparel category.”FootJoy entered the golf outerwear category in 1997 with the launch of DryJoys rain wear. Through constant innovation in construction and material science, the range set the standard for performance in inclement conditions and now leads the category in the United States. Introduced last year, the layering system was developed to meet the specific needs of golfers who demand comfortable performance apparel that regulates body temperature and adapts to changing weather conditions. Comprised of garments designed for wet, windy, cold and warm conditions, the system allows players to ‘Layer Up’, consistent with FootJoy’s mantra: Make Every Day Playable.“I continue to be impressed with the quality, fit, comfort and overall performance of FootJoy apparel,” said PGA Tour player Steve Stricker. “The layering system is absolutely terrific, allowing me to regulate my body temperature based upon changing conditions. In addition, the new performance lisle shirts that I have been wearing all year are superb.”Jim Connor, President of FootJoy, commented: “We’re excited about the opportunity to move into an adjacent business and believe the timing is right. We’ve talked to golfers and our trade partners, who enthusiastically support the plans and offerings; and we have the right people and support in place to be as successful in performance golf apparel as we are in our golf footwear, glove and sock categories. This represents an important step forward in FootJoy’s mission to enhance enjoyment of the game for golfers everywhere.”
