Former University of Georgia product, Brendon Todd cruised to a two shot victory at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. Todd's final round was blemish free, not making a single bogey to four birdies for a four-under par round of 66.
Beginning his day in a tie for the lead, Todd made birdies at 2, 5, 9 and 10 to race to 14-under par on the week. Todd made several crafty par saves on his way to the clubhouse including a left handed, back of the wedge shot on the par-3 13th that set up perhaps the best up and down of the week. None of his chasers could catch him giving Todd his first PGA Tour win in 77 starts.
Todd relied on DryJoys Tour golf shoes and the Pure Touch Limited golf glove throughout his winning performance.
The win gives Todd a two year exemption on the PGA Tour as well as an invite to the 2015 Masters.

Steady veteran Zach Johnson opened his 2014 campaign with a victory at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions at Kapalua.
Starting the week with rounds of 66 and 67 placed Johnson atop the leaderboard at the halfway point of the tournament. He struggled to a 74 during the third round, falling out of the lead with only the final round to play.
With strokes to make up, Johnson birdied three holes on his outward nine. Adding four more birdies on the inward nine gave Johnson a one stroke lead. No one could match his 19 under par total, giving Johnson the win!
Johnson relied on DryJoys Tour and StaSof during his winning performance.
The is Johnson's 11th career PGA Tour Victory.

Ten time PGA Tour winner and Masters Champion Zach Johnson is no stranger to closing the deal down the stretch of big events against the world's best players, and this weekend he did not disappoint. Four strokes down with eight holes to play, Zach Johnson birdied four of seven holes to tie for the lead heading to the eighteenth.
Then, from the middle of the fairway on the final hole of regulation, Johnson inexplicably hits his eight iron approach into the green front hazard. Recomposing himself and taking his drop at 58 yards, Johnson, who is widely regarded as one of the best with a wedge in his hands, holes out the shot to save par and force a playoff!
On the first hole of the playoff, Johnson played the 18th with much less drama, hitting the fairway, and green and two putting for a par. His playing competitor would fail to get up and down from a greenside bunker giving Zach the victory.
Zach Johnson opted for the always reliable DryJoys Tour golf shoe and StaSof golf glove during his winning performance.
David Howell celebrated his first European Tour title in seven years by beating Peter Uihlein in a sudden-death play-off at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Howell wearing DryJoys Tour™ golf shoes and a SciFlex™ glove, carded a final round of 67 to set the clubhouse target at St Andrews and then watched as overnight leader Uihlein (XPS-1™ & Pure Touch®) missed from 15 feet for a winning birdie on the 18th, meaning the pair finished tied on 23 under par.
Playing the first hole at St Andrews to begin the play-off, both players narrowly missed long birdie attempts but Howell, who had lost all four of his previous play-offs, made no such mistake from eight feet to claim the title and first prize of €589,561.
Uihlein began the day with a two-shot lead but a combination of a three-putt bogey at the first and a blistering start from France's Thomas Levet saw that instantly wiped out.
Levet (FJ ICON™) briefly led by two shots when he opened with five straight birdies and also picked up a shot on the seventh, but faded over the closing stretch and saw his hopes ended by driving out of bounds on the 14th. He did have the consolation of winning the pro-am competition however.
Howell’s victory at St. Andrews lifts him to the top of the European Ryder Cup Points List and to 12th on the Race to Dubai, guaranteeing qualification for the season finale DP World Tour Championship - where the Dubai resident will make his debut from the 14-17 November.
The 38 year old also jumps 82 places in the Official World Golf Rankings to 94.
"I have never played in an Open Championship here but to win a golf tournament as a professional at the Home of Golf is quite amazing and I am really thrilled” stated Howell.
"I was really nervous all week and strangely less nervous today - I can't explain that at all. I stayed calm and smooth under pressure and that was really pleasing”.
With the four majors in the books, the PGA Tour's best players will now focus their efforts on trying to take home the FedEx Cup.
The first step in attaining the 10 Million dollar first prize, takes place at Liberty National golf club in Jersery City, NJ. Boasting views of the Big Apple and Lady Liberty off in the distance make this a truly one of a kind venue!

Mikko Ilonen cruised to a three shot victory at the Nordea Masters, winning his first European Tour title for six years at Bro Hof Slott.
The 33 year old, whose two previous victories came in 2007, the latter in this event, started the day two clear and an imposing display meant the gap was not closed, despite a hugely impressive 12 under weekend total from FJ Apparel Ambassador Bernd Wiesberger (FJ Sport & StaSof)
After turning in 34, Ilonen (FJ ICON & StaSof) then birdied the 11th from 12 feet, before his only set-back with a three-putt bogey at the long 12th. A sublime chip to three feet at the next quickly atoned for that error, and there were no dramas over the closing stretch.
A three under par 69 ensured a 21 under total and three shot victory margin for the Finn.
“It’s pretty special. I could feel a lot of support from Finland, especially today," said Ilonen,
Asked about his bogey at the 12th, he added: “I just got ahead of myself with the first putt. I’ve said for weeks now it doesn’t really bother me if I make a bogey because I know I can make it up and it was the first time I went for the 13th in two.”
Ilonen had been a runner-up in Morocco before finishing second to Brett Rumford in China already this season, and was pleased with the way he dealt with those disappointments.
“To bounce back this soon is really good,” he continued. “It’s really satisfying, but the show I saw in China - I didn’t lose the tournament, Brett won it, so hats off to him."
“Obviously I’ve been waiting for this moment for a few weeks now. People have been expecting me to win but most of all I’ve been expecting myself to win, so to pull it off here after those second places is very satisfying."

Former Oklahoma State standout and US Amateur Champion, Peter Uihlein shot a final round of 68 to capture his first professional career victory at the Madeira Islands Open in Santo Da Serra, Portugal. Beginning the day one stroke behind leader Mark Tullo, Ulhlein opened with a bogey falling further behind. However, Uihlein fought back to even par for the front nine and continued to make four birdies in his final eight holes to reach 15 under par. The total gave him a two stroke victory over fellow FJ Staffers, Morten Orum Madsen and Mark Tullo.
Uihlein was ready for any conditions the seaside golf course could conjure in full line FJ Performance Apparel, DryJoys Tour golf shoes and the StaSof golf glove.
Uihlein stated post round, "To do it playing well on the back nine coming down the stretch is sweet. ... I just knuckled down, I guess. It was all putting that did it today; I was just trying to free up and they started to roll in, so it was nice."
Peter also spoke of his decision to join the European Tour instead of testing his game on the American circuit, "You grow up quick out here and that was the main reason I came over...It's been a good process so far and hopefully I can keep going."
This is Peter's third top ten in seven European Tour starts this season. The win also gives Uihlein European Tour Status through the 2014 season.

D.A. Points came back from a nearly three hour rain delay to win the Shell Houston Open by one stroke over Henrik Stenson and Billy Horschel.
Beginning the day one back, Points made six birdies in the first 14 holes, racing to a one stroke lead before play ceased. With a two year PGA Tour exemption and a Masters invitation on the line, D.A. made clutch pars on the final four holes including up and downs on the final two to post the clubhouse lead at 16 under. No one could catch the total, which gave D.A. his second PGA tour victory.
Points trusted his XPS-1 golf shoes and FJ Sciflex glove en route to his win, "The XPS-1 gives me the comfort and stability I need to play my best golf." Continuing, "The SciFlex fits my hand and is breathable for the hot conditions we always play in."
Seven different FJ styles graced the top 25 of the Shell Houston Open. D.A. opted for max stability of the XPS-1, second place finisher Billy Horschel went for fashion forward performance in FJ Icon MyJoys. Louis Oostuizen of South Africa won the Volvo Golf Champions event at Durban Country Club with a Sunday best, six under par 66 to win by one stroke.
Starting the day five strokes back of the lead, Oosthiuizen made up solid ground on the front nine shooting a four under 32 to creep within one of the lead. Continuing his near perfect play on the back, Louis, in DryJoys Tour and SciFlex, birdied his first two holes to take sole possession of the lead. Oosthuizen added another birdie at the 14th before a late bogey at the 16th gave others hope at catching him. Their pursuit would be in vain with Louis parring the final two holes to take home the championship. The win coupled with seven top tens in his past eight starts has moved the former Open Champion Oosthuizen to number four on the Official World Golf Rankings, his highest ranking ever. This was Louis' sixth European Tour victory.

Zach Johnson is no stranger to winning on the PGA Tour and this weekend the former Master's Champion added another to his victory total with a win at the John Deere Classic.
Johnson, in DryJoys Tour and StaSof, fired a final round six under par 65 to jump in front of 54 hole leader Troy Matteson. Now two strokes back with two to play, Matteson (DryJoys Tour) jarred a 60 foot eagle putt to tie the Johnson's clubhouse lead at 20 under par. Making par on the last, the two players would head back on the course for a sudden death playoff.
On the first playoff hole both players exchanged head scratching double bogeys and headed back to the 18th tee for the third time today. This time Johnson rifled his 190 yard fairway bunker approach to within a foot of the cup. Matteson needed more late day heroics to have any chance to extend the playoff but missed his birdie bid giving Zach a tap in for the victory. Johnson converted the tap in making him the 2012 John Deer Classic Champion.
Zach later stated of his clutch playoff approach shot, “I think we’re stating the obvious...That was my shot of the week.”
This is Zach's ninth win on the PGA Tour and second of the season. The win also moves Zach to second in the FedEx Cup standings.

On the PGA Tour, Ted Potter Jr. won the Greenbrier Classic in a three hole playoff over fellow FJ staffer Troy Kelly (DryJoys Tour). Potter, three off the lead with two holes to play, eagled the 600 plus yard par five seventeenth to get within one of the leader. The PGA Tour rookie, in FJ Icon, added another birdie on the par three finishing hole to take the clubhouse lead at 16 under par. Opting to watch the action unfold instead of staying loose on the range, Potter watched Kelly par his final two holes to tie him in the clubhouse.
With the playoff set, they headed to the par three 18th where both players exchanged pars. Moving to the seventeenth, Potter narrowly missed a short birdie putt that would of sealed the deal on Kelly's chances, but Potter calmly tapped in his par and they headed to the par three last for the third time today. This time Potter stuck one into a few feet and made the birdie putt for the win. This is Ted Potter Jr's first PGA Tour win.

Now, moving to Paris for the European Tour's Alstom Open De France, where Marcel Siem put together a final round five under par 67 to outlast the field by one. Siem, in FJ Icon MyJoys and StaSof, started his day with a drive into a hazard but the German showed some grit, fighting back to save his par despite the errant opening shot. Marcel added five birdies and a single bogey to close out the field and win the Championship.
This is Siem's first victory since the 2004 Dunhill Championship, stating post round, "It means so much to me to win after that long stretch. It's all about
winning in the end and it puts so much pressure every time you don't win
and people start talking, you will never win again and stuff like that,
so it's very important for me."
On the LPGA Tour, Na Yeon Choi battled the long and tough Blackwolf Run U.S. Women's Open venue to win by four shots over fellow FJ player Amy Yang. Choi, in Women's DryJoys, was around the top of the leaderboard all week but a third round 65, the fifth lowest round in U.S. Women's Open history, catapulted her to the top field by six strokes. Shooting even par on the front nine, Choi tripled the tenth hole to give the other players an outside chance of catching her. She bounced back with birdies at 11, 15, and 16 to promptly slam the door on her competition and win the championship.
This is Choi's first major triumph and the win will moves her to second on the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings.

For those fashionistas out there, the shield tip will be added to the MyJoys lineup on August 1, 2012.
Zach Johnson held off fellow FJ staffer, Jason Dufner to win the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club in Forth Worth, TX. Dufner, coming off two wins in the past month, had the upper hand beginning the round with a one stroke lead over Johnson.
Johnson in DryJoys Tour MyJoys and StaSof, struck first birdieing the second hole to Dufner's bogey. Dufner (FJ Apparel and FJ ICON) fought back with birdies at five and six to retake the lead. Johnson remained steady and both players headed to the back nine tied.
On the par five 11th Johnson birdied to Dufner's bogey creating a two shot lead for the Iowa native. Johnson extended the lead on the 15th hole to three shots. Johnson would not relinquish his lead eventually winning by one stroke over Dufner.
“In some respects, I kind of feel like I took down a lion,” Johnson said of Dufner post round, adding, "He’s been at the top of his game.”
This is Johnson's eighth PGA Tour victory and first since winning the Crown Plaza Invitational in 2010. The win also moves Johnson to third in the FedEx Cup race while Dufner remains at the top.

Former British Open Champion, Ben Curtis captured an emotional victory in San Antonio this week at the Valero Texas Open. Curtis in head to toe FJ performance apparel, opened the week with back to back 67's, racing up the leaderboard with the 10-under par total. Blustery winds made scoring difficult on Saturday as Curtis shot a one over par 73, despite the over par score Curtis retained the lead heading into the final round.
The tough scoring conditions from Saturday carried over to the final round, but Curtis (DryJoys Tour and StaSof) kept his head down and grinded out a front nine 35 to remain ahead of his challengers. Then Curtis made early bogey's on the back nine to drop into a tie for the lead. He fought back, making a string of pars before holing an unlikely 23-footer on the 17th hole to remain one ahead of his competition. On the final hole, Curtis's challengers failed to make birdie giving Curtis two putts for the win. He would finish the tournament out in style, holing the 12-footer for birdie and a two stroke victory.
This is Curtis's fourth PGA Tour win and first in the last six years adding post round, "It's been a tough couple of years just fighting through it." The win moves Curtis to the 28th spot on the FedEx Cup rankings.
